Almighty, eternal, merciful God!

We acknowledge that we are weak, and we pray that You will strengthen us with the power of Your holy spirit, which can quench all fear of man.

Eternal God! May You forgive our sins. We pray to You for all our enemies, for they know not what they do. We pray also for all men of goodwill, who hunger and thirst after godly righteousness, that You will satisfy them with the food that endures to everlasting life.

Eternal heavenly Father! We sing praise to You, for having brought us out of darkness into Your marvellous light, which You have hidden from the wise of this world but have offered to Your children.

We pray Your blessing upon all our brethren and sisters, that You will sustain them in Your Holy Name, so that they will walk in Your commandments and remain in them unto the end, and that they may drink deeply from the cup which You have given them to drink.

We pray to You for rulers, authorities and lords, that You will enlighten them with Your godly Truth, that the authority which You have given them may be used for the protection of the godly and the punishment of the wicked, and not to violate innocent blood.

Eternal Father! We pray that You will send workers into Your vineyard; for the harvest is great, while the labourers are few. We pray for all those who carry Your gospel throughout the whole world, that You will strengthen them with the power of Your holy spirit, that in them all the terror of man may be quenched and that they will not renounce Your Word through fear.

Sustain us in Your Holy Name, and let us not wander away from You, fountain of living waters, that we may hold fast to the true faith firm unto the end.28
